Blogger Interview - Pete Skibinski

1. Introduction about yourself?

I'm a paiting student in my final year at the Edinburgh College of Art, I consume 'visual' like no other.

2. What do you do?

I study full time, fine art is a demanding and highly time consuming job.

3. Why do you have a blog and what do you normally write about?

I've started a blog to have a place where I can combine my fine art interest and projects, with a bit more down to earth fashion DIY. I'm a maker, I like producing things, and for me it doesn;t matter if it's just a small garment alteration od 2x2 meters canvas.

4. When do you started getting interested in Fashion?

I'm interested in style, fashion is something I might appreciate when seeing others. I remeber wearing yellow shoes in middle school.. my fashion interest definitely started then, on a subconcius level.

5. Has you ever worn something and regretted it?

A massive double brested leather long coat, and a turtleneck... sad times..

6. What do you think matches best with ARDENTEES?

Urban, relaxed, design freak - those are three that come up to my mind first when I think ARDENTEES.

7. What are the websites you frequent?

I love fashion blogs like the Sartorialist and Facehunter, pretty classic, other than that.. FFFFFound.com, just to feed my addiction to visuals.

8. What are your favorite brands?

I love Comme des Garcons and Bottega Veneta in designers, in high street, it's probably Zara, Topman and Acne.

9. Where do you normally shop?

Normally second hand shops and car boot sales, you can find real gems there.

10. 3 things you won’t leave home without?

My Iphone, I'm a facebook addict.
A bag, I feel naked when not having one with me at all times, even the simplest canvas shopper would do
my moleskin pocket size notebook, handy for writing down ideas and inspiration for new work.

don't follow fashion, create style.
