1. Introduction about yourself?
I'm Charles Matthews, known by day as a freelancer, and known online as 'The Pinstripe Prince.' I specialise in menswear editorials, but also like to showcase my own interpretations and style within this.
2. What do you do?
I'm a freelancer in London, working for a number of magazine organisations alongside doing work for my website, www.pinstripeprince.blogspot.com
3. Why do you have a blog and what do you normally write about?
I use it as a way to further highlight the growing importance of menswear fashion, and also to showcase and continually ignite my writing ways. I write about menswear fashion and also include my own interpretations.
4. When do you started getting interested in Fashion?
My friend Constance (www.constance-victoria.blogspot.com) is a photographer and stylist who got me thoroughly immersed in the fashion world. Since then I've realised the power of expression that the industry embodies, and I love that.
5. Has you ever worn something and regretted it?
I used to wear fleeces as a young one, something I'll forever regret, despite my countryside background.
6. What do you think matches best with ARDENTEES?
Skinny jeans and military boots is amazingly coherent with ardentees, but for a quirky approach, I like oversized bohemian cardigans that are full of texture layered over them.
7. What are the websites you frequent?
www.pinstripeprince.blogspot.com, along with all the links on my page, and ebay of course for some bargain vintage finds!
8. What are your favorite brands?
unique tee's like yourself, allsaints for the ultimate in distressed grunge, topman for something a little sharp and chic, but ebay for the unique vintage finds!
9. Where do you normally shop?
Ebay is my haven
10. 3 things you won’t leave home without?
A hat of sorts, a book, and my essential satchel
